This year the government’s flagship cyber security event, the CyberUK Conference, made the case for an optimistic outlook for the UK and businesses in being able to tackle current and future threats posed by the evolving Cyber Landscape. Invited to deliver the keynote at the London (Re)Insurance Claims Congress, Andrew Fitzmaurice, CEO Templar Executives, asks whether this optimism can extend to the world of Insurance.

During his keynote Andrew describes the current threat actors and motivations, and the UK’s progress on addressing these threats in an increasingly inter-connected and digital world. He looks at examples of where Cyber Security insurance is beginning to flourish and the reasons why. Andrew then goes on to explore what the future holds and what type of businesses and cyber risk behaviors Brokers and Underwriters should consider when planning to sell Cyber Insurance.
