The Maritime Cyber Emergency Response Team (MCERT)

As part of the Maritime Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, the Maritime Cyber Emergency Response Team (MCERT) will use intelligence feeds from national and commercial and from the global Maritime community submitted through the Cyber Security Reporting Portal (CSRP) to develop a rich intelligence picture for members. The Maritime Cyber Emergency Response Team (MCERT) is based in Singapore and will provide advice and support, including real time assistance, to members on Cyber attacks and incidents.

The Global Maritime community will be served by a sector-specific service that over time will mature the entire sector through increasing awareness of and actions resulting from Cyber incidents. One targeted Cyber attack on a Maritime company is an attack on the entire Maritime sector.

To join the MCERT and experience the benefits, organisations can join the MCERT Advisory Board or become an MCERT Member.
